Thank You Single Ply Roofing Industry for Supporting Marana Students!

Marana Unified School District extends a heartfelt thank you to Single Ply Roofing Industry (SPRI) and JustServe for their incredible generosity and service to our students. As part of an employee service project while visiting Tucson for a convention, SPRI donated an astounding $7,500 worth of food and gathered approximately 50 volunteers, who helped assemble almost 700 snack packs for Marana Schools.
The CEO of SPRI, who resides in Texas, reached out to JustServe looking for a meaningful service project in the Marana community for SPRI to complete while in town for an upcoming convention at Loews Ventana Resort. After learning about needs at Marana High School, Marana Middle School, and Roadrunner Elementary, a project was created to assemble snack packs for students. About 50 SPRI members then assembled the snack packs – almost 700 – while at the conference. Additionally, they donated approximately 600 extra snack bars and a variety of beverages, including water, milk, protein drinks, and juice. Volunteers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints picked up the donations, and delivered them to MUSD to coordinate distribution to students.
Each snack pack was thoughtfully filled with quick meals, fruit, snack bars, and other nutritious items to support students who may need extra food assistance.
Thank you, SPRI, JustServe, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for making a difference in the lives of Marana students!
